Aura Host and cPanel logout issues for Telkom Mobile (LTE) customers

Are you getting logged out of the client area or cPanel unexpectedly? Or can not login

Telkom LTE has changed the way they provide their customers with IP addresses. In the past, one IP address was provided, but since mid-2018 the IP address changes frequently.

What this means for our customers is that you may become logged out of mid-session. As the IP address you are using changes, Our system no longer recognises the IP address and you are logged out for security reasons.

In order to resolve this issue, you need to change your APN setting from the default Internet APN to an Unrestricted APN option. If you are familiar with this process, you can follow the device setup guide ensuring that the Profile name and APN are set to Unrestricted.  Alternatively, the Telkom Service Operations Centre (SOC), who can be contacted at 081 180, will guide you through the necessary changes.
